The Missing Elf Quest was extremely popular when it was released. The main super dish, Fizzy Fruit salad had very easy regulars and was a very high dish. Originally released in 2013 as the first part of a two part quest, its sherbert rocking horse quickly became a favorite ingredient among many players. At just 8 hours to grow and cook, and reasonable regular ingredients, it really is among the most ideal of the supers.
This quest was re-released to the Gourmet Ranch players in December 2014 as was its followup quest. Ingredients from 2011 and 2012 were made available to grow for the ENTIRE month of December while each part of this quest was only given two weeks.
